Project Output:

In this proposal, a mobile crowd sensing (MCS) approach based on smartphones’ sensors is suggested to implement a fingerprinting based indoor positioning system. The introduction of MCS is expected to significantly reduce the cost of offline training phase and keep the fingerprint updated. At the end, this concept will be validated through comparing the fingerprint localization produced from MCS training, the fingerprint localization produced from manual training and the exact location in an indoor environment.
